In this film, when a screenwriter (Brooks) loses his edge, he seeks assistance from anyone and everyone he can find... even the mythological "Zeus's Daughter" (Stone). Moreover, he is eager to pay whatever price is necessary to appease this goddess, despite his reluctance to do so, especially when her advise gets him back on track with a sure-fire script. However, this is not the extent of her assistance; she also assists the writer's wife (MacDowell) in starting her own baking venture, much to the displeasure of Brooks, who has already made numerous personal sacrifices in order to obtain his own assistance.
